Daniel Graffin is a French sculptor, most of whose commissioned works reside abroad.

" It is as beautiful as the coming together, on some luminous shore, of a Western taoïst and  an Eastern logician, or as the silent dialogue between a vision ofemptiness and the dance, in the air and on the  earth of those diagrams of forces we call forms"

Kenneth White's interpretation of Graffin's work enables us to discover a strange  "cosmo-poet".

This nomad's work, his traditional and monumental sculptures integrated into architecture,  certainly expresses an
iansatiable desire of knowledge and a deep understanding of the relationship between  human  beings and the world.

Daniel Graffin was born in 1938. He lives and works in Paris, and in the Var region of Provence.
